Learn about the ICONIC-UC research study of an oral investigational medication
for adults and adolescents with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC).

You may be able to take part in the ICONIC-UC if you meet the study criteria below. If you are interested in participating, the study doctor or staff will review additional study criteria with you.
Inclusion criteria
- Are at least 12 years old*
- Be diagnosed with UC for at least 3 months
- Have moderately to severely active UC upon entry
- Have not been able to tolerate or have not improved with a current or previous treatment for your UC
If you are interested in participating, the study doctor and team will review additional study criteria with you.
*Participants under the age of 18 require permission from a parent or caregiver to participate
Exclusion criteria
- Have complications of UC that may require surgery

What happens during the study?
There are 5 parts to this study:
- Screening (Up to 6 weeks)
- Induction (12 weeks)
- Maintenance (40 weeks)
- Extension (208 weeks)
- Safety Follow-Up (4 weeks after last dose)
Total Duration: Up to 5 years

During the study visits, you will undergo various procedures to monitor your health. These procedures may include:
- Physical exam
- Vital signs measurement
- Chest X-ray (as indicated)
- Electrocardiogram (ECGs)
- Blood sample
- Stool sample
- Endoscopies/biopsy
- Health assessments
- Questionnaires
- eDiary
- Pregnancy test (if applicable)
Not every test will be done at every visit. Some visits could be completed via telehealth.
