TOGETHER, WE KNOW IBD.

The We Know IBD Program is uniting doctors and patients
around the world to help advance IBD research.

About the We Know IBD Program

The We Know IBD Program is a collection of clinical research studies evaluating an investigational medication for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease (CD) & ulcerative colitis (UC). Those diagnosed with moderately to severely active CD or UC may be eligible to participate.

IBD & Clinical Research

We Know IBD—and we know that additional treatment options start with clinical research.

Together, with leading doctors, nurses, and patients around the world, we’re working to advance the science of IBD treatment so that one day, long-lasting remission may be a possibility for more people living with IBD.

Quick facts on IBD

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which includes Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC), causes chronic inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract.1, 2 Symptoms may include abdominal pain, diarrhea, and urgent bowel movements.3

About participating in research studies

Clinical research studies test the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication (one not yet approved by a regulatory agency) in a group of people. This is the only way to find new or better treatment options.

By taking part in a clinical research study, you may:

  • Get actively involved in your own healthcare
  • Help others by progressing medical research
